Does anyone have a picture of how the side are installed on a 37 Packard 1500.

What do the brackets look like.

The 1937 1500 had a chrome bar attached to the cowl and through the fender to a flange attached to the frame.
Attached to the bar was a fitting which had a lock and a plate to hold the fender spare (Packard did not call them 'sidemounts')...which was hidden by the hubcap.
