The cat is smoking a Camel and probably calls that thing a spanner.

I had a good visit with Fred while the old horse was eating his evening portion of Geezer Chow. She likes those visits. So do I.

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

Got the trailer hooked up this evening after Wat's one lone day at work this week. We're going to head east and bring back Black Fred Sedan II, also known as the '46 Deluxe.

Drive day tomorrow and Thursday. T-giving this year will be replaced with Mrs. Tyler's 90th b-day dinner.

And there's a trip to Cincinnati to collect a '54 limo parts car. More miles on the tow vehicle. Oh well . . . .

Mrs. Tyler's 90th went very well. She was very pleased. Good thing, that.

Got the Deluxe hauled out here to Points West. I'll unload that tomorrow. Step One will be to take it for a spin to stretch its legs, and step two will be to piddle with that running warmer than I like issue discussed a few pages back.

THis weekend is going to get spent going to get the Henney/359 donor and to work on finishing up this batch of shelves for all the crap coming in the door, plus adding some lights so that the crap can be seen. And maybe a plug or two for plugging things in.

With Fred's watchful supervision, of course.

The current batch of overhead shelving is just about complete. Got a lot done this morning.

Now to figure out where to add some lights and a plug or three.

Took a wee nap and went back out to the hayhouse/Packard barn. A small part of Fred's Vast Holdings. Finished off the overhead shelf and got a pile of stuff put away there, clearing out a decent amount of floor space in the process. We made a determination of where we want a light or two and a plug or two and we mounted some boxes and started to pull some wire. Hell, we may have lights come Sunday.

And, of course, Fred was there from morning until nightfall.

It's a lousy picture. You can see frame when you open the driver's door. I'm not sure that Fred has dignified it with her presence.

Yes, most all of the rest of it is for sale or scrap. We have a VRBO rental here, so if you wanted to make yourself a pick-n-pull weekend, that can be arranged after hunting season. Five guys from GA have rented that house each fall for nigh on 10 years now, and their deal is complete this year on 12/18.

It's a slushbox. Wat so wishes it was a stick, but t'ain't.
