I have had people ask me how to find a post here and the normal search (Top Right) isn't finding what they are looking for.

The search in the Top Right is a "general" top-level keyword of all the various modules here on the website. It will not drill down that deep into the nuances of each posting thread here on the Forum.

If you want to find posts here in the Forum, I recommend you use the Forum Advanced Search Link found on the Bottom-Right of the Forum Pages. This only searches the forum posts and it lets you filter by Forum (pre-war, post-war, etc), Author, Date/Time, etc. This will return far better results than the "General" Search will.
