Re: AGM Batteries

There have been reports about two AGM batteries which are connected in parallel where a no charge has been indicated. There is something about once one battery has been charged the other one cannot be charged. I believe there is a device which can be installed that will allow for both batteries to be charged evenly.

It seems that two batteries are not necessary given the capacity and output of the AGMs.

I would try just using one battery and see what happens.

Good luck.

P.S. I use a trickle charger battery maintainer on my non-Packards Optima battery. I also have a battery cut-off switch which is in the OFF position when the car is not in use.

D.O.,
I can relate to your charging issues....
I recently had troubles with my 37 120C .

After a couple basic tests, I determined the issue was the voltage regulator and I had my unit converted to solid state and it works great!

Good Luck !
