Here are some pics of Hollywood Stars of yesteryear proudly posing with their packards. Any guess as to what years they are?

No guesses, just facts. They're both 1932 models. The top car is a Super Eight (Deluxe Eight) phaeton, and the bottom car is a Twelve convertible coupe. Love those wheel covers!!

West: I could be mistaken about the Clark Gable Packard.
The Packard is a 1932 905 series with 579 body style which means it is a Coupe Roadster or sometimes referred to as a Rumble Seat Roadster.

I can give you two different reference sources if you would like.

A tiger's tail by any other name is still a tail. I was just calling it by its generic term, which is a convertible coupe.

No guessing just facts? Now now West, it might be a Tigers Tail, but that Tail is connected to a 1932 905 series with 579 body Rumble Seat Roadster. Ha Ha! The Wheel Covers are...snazzy?

Technically it's not a roadster. It's a convertible coupe.

Buck Jones & '33 Packard Special

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder for lack of a better saying, but for my 2 bits that one is so special, it doesn't even resemble a Packard and is ugly.

EDIT: Thanks to Gerd for ferreting out the truth. I think it's still ugly but being a Cadillac, at least it has reason.
