Can anyone advise on the correct automatic transmission fluid to use in my 56 Clipper Super?

Here is a bit written by a long time poster some years back. The information is still valid although pure type F seems to be getting pushed to the side in favor of the newer combination one works for all fluids used in modern transmissions and is more readily available at some stores.

I been using B&M TRICK SHIFT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID -in my 1951 300 has been working well but you may want to research it more since you have a 56
