looks very much like the face of a tail light housing, but question the square area.

Recently a similar photo and question was asked on the AACA Forums but I can't find it now. Thoughts, from what I remember, is as Dell said - A tail light bezel along with additional comments regarding the "square" area.

Randy (1929PackardGuy), very kind of you. Dell and Mal (Ozstatman) have been faster in identifying the tail light bezel but I was close.
