Looks like a 6-way or 8-way power seat motor and is very similar to the one in my 1965 Cadillac. I have a spare and can compare when I’m next at my shop (in a few weeks, I hope). I’m sure it’s not Packard unless the ‘56 had a totally different power seat than earlier models!
