Clean up the housing and look carefully, my 1934 1100 sedan has the ratio (4.69) stamped on the housing, visible from the rear. The chances are probably 90 % or better that yours is also a 4.69.

Appreciate your suggestion Owen, kind of a tight spot I'm hoping you recall did the numbers I'm looking for appear on the backs cover (carrier?) , the axel housing, or the front side where the drive shaft enters the diff. Hard space to fit into a little suggestion would help, many thanks!
