Hello,
We are an association of volunteer firefighters in Portugal and we own a 1929 Packard car.
We are about to celebrate our 100th anniversary and we would like this vehicle to start our parade.
However, it needs fixing and so far, we haven’t been able to get a timing rotor or a starter motor . We would like to know i where we can buy them.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Both Kanter:

https://www.kanter.com/packard/pac-sen.html

and Max Merrit

https://packardparts.com/contact-us/

have parts for those years in stock, though perhaps not the exact ones you need. Kanter in particular lists points and cap and rotor for those years, and Max Merrit has rebuildable starter cores and brush sets.

Will probably be able to help you. Best to give them a call (best) or write them.

G'day LVeiga,
to PackardInfo, you may be our first Forum Member from Portugal!

I invite you to include your '29 Packard in the Packard Vehicle Registry.

Now, to get to your question, have you reached out to Packard owners "close" to you? There are a number of Packard Clubs in various European countries who may have members with cars similar to yours. PAC(Packard Automobile Clasics) has a list of European Packard Clubs on their Website under Regions with links to either a Website or Email. Although Spain does not have a Packard Club, that I am aware of, there is at least one Forum Member there who has a number of late '20's Packards who may be able to provide advice. Click on this link, Manuel Glez, and send him a Private Message from there. Manuel lists his location as Salamanca and looking at a map, that seems "reasonably" close to Portugal.

This other LINK, lists all Manuel's Packards including a '29!
