I posted a while back about trying to get my custom super clipper running again. The entire dash and wiring was taken apart before me. I was able to connect the coil and got the motor to turn over, seems like a fuel pump issue. I’m guessing my next step would be to just replace the wiring harness? Instead of just reconnecting the old one?? My car is not in the best shape but the body is over all solid. I’m looking for suggestions on the best place to get one for the dash and engine harness. I looked at Rhode Island Wiring Service, around $740. Didn’t know if this was a good price or not. Where do you guys recommend? Currently living on a college budget lol. Thanks for any help.

Good Afternoon...You might try Potomac Packard 706-746-2318. Both are good companies. Ernie in Arizona

If budget is the main concern then you might want to just make it yourself. Buy white automotive wire and color code the ends with some markers.

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish.

Make sure to get the right gauge, too. Six volt systems love wire size.

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

So far I have used only YnZ Yesterday's Parts for harnesses and they have been excellent quality. The other two mentioned have never ever responded to emails which I require due to poor hearing.
