Does anybody know where I can find a used fuel tank for a 1948 Super Eight?

Another person is also looking for a tank and as explained in this thread used tanks were fairly well picked thru in the last few years and good ones may be hard to come by. Before the fairly recent addition of the Packard repro tank became available used was all there was.

The correct 48-50 Packard repro tank is somewhat expensive but as mentioned and linked in post 9 of the thread linked above another poster was able to make a less expensive Chevy repro tank work. That or a used Chevy tank might be something you could explore if a Packard tank doesn't come along. Chevy repro tanks are sold by several vendors.
