After many months of negotiations, I’m happy to announce that I ( Tucson Packard ) have purchased the contents of the Louis Abelove collection. I am currently in Utica NY tackling the daunting task of packing and loading trucks. If anyone is in the area and looking for sheetmetal, motors, transmissions, or anything in particular please message me. I will be here till Monday. Thank you

How many trucks and how big are they? Believe Louis was quite a "collector".

thanks for preserving that hoard.
I wasn't too happy to see the cars dispersed, but that's life. No one has the space these days and it wasn't a pretty picture. I'm getting too old to take on any more projects, can't finish what I got. This way there's not an "awkward" auction and pages of discussion.

I went to the storage facility to see the cars for the second auction. Most of the cars were pretty rough, though there were a few gems like the 1939 Rollson Panel Brougham and the 1938 Super 8 Sedan. The '37 120 Convertible Coupe actually needed quite a bit of work and sold for far more than it was worth, especially considering the ridiculous 20% buyer's premium. I did like the '26 Pierce a lot. Here are some pictures I took that day. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to take good photos because the cars were really crammed in there, nearly touching each other in some cases. Lighting was pretty poor too.
