I am looking for the fuel gage for my 1928 Packard 526. I do have the faceplate that you see through the glass but need the mechanism behind for the K-S Telegage. I do have the sending unit in the tank.

I would like to get both the gage and cover
Part
157430 Instrument Board Gasoline Gage
145975 Instrument Board Gasoline Gage Cover

Any help or leads will be appreciated.

Rob

This supplier just has the body and the sight glass if that is what you need. For the faceplate, you might have to reproduce one on a scanner/copier, laminate it and use that.

I recently replaced the sight glass on mine and got it to a working state. Here is some info (includes precise info about the calibration rods necessary for an accurate reading):

Max Merritt sells the extremely small copper tube and fittings that run from the sender to the gauge. Straight 8 sells the special sauce red liquid. Let us know how it goes.
