Did not have time to watch the whole video yet, but you will notice in the first few minutes the Packard bus, and a cadillac and lincoln. Notice how the services and food compare to todays bag of pretzels.

Todd (tolandis), I expected to see in this promotional documentary a Packard Pan American, Henney's masterpiece.

Thanks nevertheless for this great 1940 Pan Am promo video, filmed in a time, when Europe lay in ashes, while the video provided the lovely impression of a world, that promised to be the heaven on earth, describing Midway Island as a bird sanctuary on a coral atoll, offering every convienience.

For those interested in relevance, here are snapshots.

Judging from the poor springing it is easy to understand why those airport limousines were on an expressway to the junkyard.

Just saw one of these 8-door airporters a couple evenings ago in a YouTube video. Now I can’t find it again but it was a documentary about PanAm.

Yes... and I seem to recall there was a complete history of the Packard Pan Americans written by some guy in "The Packard Cormorant" too...

You'll find that article, by Leon Dixon, in The Packard Cormorant #173, 4th Quarter 2018.
