What are you all doing for exhaust?

My car currently has two 8x5x14-inch oval universal turbo mufflers in the stock locations with no resonators and it's too noisy...meaning I can hear it. A luxury car like a Packard should not be heard.

I think two of these mufflers will do nicely. They approximate the size and shape of the original Packard mufflers:

Then I'll move the current turbo mufflers towards the back to function as resonators. Do you think those turbos will make good resonators, or should I pick something else?

Thats what I got for my 56 Patrician. You can order their exhaust with different muffler and resonators options. I got the loudest mufflers with no resonators they offer on mine. It is not supper loud, but you can hear it at idle, which I like.

Personally, I would rather my old luxury car not be mistaken for an electric car when driving by.

Fitment on the system is good (just installed about 80% of it to get the car running). I had to trim about 2 inches off the head pipes to get better fitment on my car, but I am not complaining. I may have to trim a little more once I get the rear bumper on and install the tail pipes.

I'm 27... I always build my cars as quiet as possible. Engine noise does absolutely nothing for me unless it has more than 500 horsepower to back it up.

Fast and loud is good. Slow and loud is just annoying.
