The nickname for this car as it stands is the Jackard. (Packard with a Jag motor)

Some day-one pics of it coming off the trailer and the VN and Theft ID for those interested.

Not sure where 1090-2452 fits in the production run of this model since individual production values were not recorded.

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish.

When I received the car, one of the Jaq engine valve covers was off the car. So put that and the air-cleaner temporarily back on to get any additional crud from getting into the motor and have fewer loose parts.

As with my '54, the car came to me with rodent evidence, but at least this time, no live ones!

Also sourced a battery for the car as it can without one present. A group 26 battery appeared to match the size of the original Willard battery closely.

Since the Jaq is set up for 12v, that's the battery I went with.

I am looking forward to seeing your progress on this interesting project! I actually knew you had something up your sleeve in the original "teaser" post. I could just feel it.

In the photos, the front tires appear to be considerably larger than the rears. Is that just an illusion?

They are the same size in person. Probably just the angle on the trailer?

I'm still making up my mind if I like the fender skirts or not.

I'm digging the Banjo steering wheel and donut chaser.

Looking for pics of what the battery hold down looks like so I know what I am looking for.

I may be bugging the 115-C owners for pictures of some areas since I have zero point of reference.

Congratulations Kev,

Interesting backstory.

With the car now in your capable hands I'm very keen to follow along as you progress with it.

EDIT- Shouldn't have to say this, but I will.

Please include your '37 115C Convertible Coupe in the Packard Vehicle Registy.
