I wish the VN plate would have been stamped when the car was initially delivered. Would have been interesting to see when and where it was first sold.

I belive said thought the body came from someone in Ohio. But who knows where it initially came from.

Can someone with a 37 115-C give me a few pictures of the wire harness and its routing in the engine bay and where in penatrates the firewall. Since the Jackard was built from spare parts, none of factory harness is in place. Right now it's "utility" wired. So I am going to strip all that out and replace the harness like I did the 54. But I need a few pictures for reference as to routing and how its bundled and where it branches. The 115C model makes no difference as the main wiring should be the same.

Thanks in advance!

I do not have a 115, but on my 120C there was an original wiring harness that is long gone as I made a new one. As to the routing I bet they are the same as the cowls look the same. The main part of the harness threads down the inside of the driver's cowl panel behind the kick panel, there should be a large support hook up on the door's upper hinge. It then goes through the body holes and comes out along the driver's side frame rail and into the engine compartment or the back down that rail to the tail lights and gas tank. I have the heavy wire for the horns and the ammeter, starter and voltage relay come out the centre hole on the firewall through a grommet. I have attached a picture but as I am still awaiting an engine to set in, the wire ends are still in a bit of disarray.

Uh, Bob, just in passing, your pedal seals are on upside down. Big part toward the floorboard.

Poll of the day:

With, or without skirts?

I think the without is sportier.

Today work involved removing the front bumpers and brackets. One to save my shins, and two so I could fully open the door to the beer fridge.

Next up was a mouse remant cleanup. Pretty sure 2 lbs of acorns were illegally smuggled across state lines.

Howard, you were spot on about the battery bracket. Looking at the battery box, there are side studs in place waiting for a mate.

It's sportier without, but doesn't look bad with the skirts either. I'm struggling more with the tire size. They look big compared to the size of the rest of the vehicle. Maybe it's because the car has no top and the windshield is short?
