Thanks for that Bob. Hard to tell in your picture, but is the weatherstrip channel on the b-pillar directly in line with the window frame, or is set more inbound?

The window frame of the door glass is outboard of the stainless steel channel's outside tangent.230-.240" on both driver and passenger sides. That allows the weather strip to seat against the inside surface of the door's window frame.

One last question. Can you show me what the profile on that rubber piece looks like? or do you know the Steel P/N you used?

I believe you have it in your inventory. Comes in a 12' strip but us convertible guys use about 4', just at the front and rear, A & B post.
I do not have the # as it came in a plain bag in the weather strip kit from Kanter

Finally got the spin oil filter adapter in place. When now gives me more room when changes are needed and the filter is no longer smashed against the vacuum advance.

Waiting on some supplies to arrive as well so I can finish off the an interior project.

Also these little weatherstrip channels arrived that attach to the B-Pillar wooden posts.

Not sure if I posted this, but I finally got the wipers sorted with the correct arms and blades.

These were supplied by Max Merrit, then I also found another set the following week in Nashville.

Another project I got done was making kick panels for the car. The originals were long gone when I got the car. So I made these from paper templates. I make these from two layers, a 1/8" masonite and a 1/8" later of card stock. I did it this way so I could sandwich the panel clip heads between the layers so the head wouldn't show under the thin vinyl.

This is all temporary upholstery until I can get real upholstery done in the far future.

Once I had the masonite panels cut to shape. I used "dowel points" to transfer the hole locations from the metal structure to the new panel. Then drilled the 1/4" holes in the panel to accept the clips.

I used these panel clips I got from eBay. They hold the panel with good tension into the under-dash structure.

The door panels on my car are off a 1936, and were dirty, and stained when I got the car. Also they are are brown with a lot of green in it. So I need to recolor them and also the new kick panels so everything matched. So used some SEM Bluebird Brown Leather/Plastic/Vinyl paint. I also used some SEM Prep Soap to scour the old leather which removed an amazing amount of dirt and stains.

I think they look much better that
before.

I'll alsopaint the seat side panels and rear package tray as well as those are also different shades of unmatching brown.

Looking to understand when is missing from this area in the rumble seat area.

It should be the same in the following cars:

1936-1937 120 convertible coupe
1937 115-c convertible couple
1937 115/120 sport coupe.

Any help (and pictures) would be helpful.

Thanks!
