Are these front and rear w/b and axle seals the same application as the 120?

Kev,

The pic, below, from post #378 leads me to ask, how far your door/s will open with the fenders as they are?

Gerry, that's a good question. I'm not really sure. In 37 I'd say yes. In 38 went to a new bearing design. But I think in 37 115c and 120c used the same sealed rear bearing. So I'd think the seal is the same.

I guess we'd have to look at the parts list and see if the 115c and 120c used then same parts, housing, spindles etc. Unless someone knows what they used on their 120c.

Mal, I'd say the door opens 80-90% of full open. I need to install some door checks to prevent contact.

Finally found a filter for the Jag "Volks" Torpedo style air filter.

The original filters are no longer available. The classic Jag parts vendors were out of stock on there modern replacements. Another filter recommended by other owners was also out of stock everywhere and expensive.

So by measuring the housing, I found a WIX filter that fits, and it only cost $11. WIX has a great online catalog where you can put in the dimensions and there will show you filters that match.

Good job! Maybe you could buy more, then sell them at an exorbitant price as the others are asking to fund your project.

Not many Jaguar MarkVii-IX cars out there. Very limited market in the US

Also, not a fan of shipping stuff just to make a couple of dollars.

Kevin, Richard Michael Owen is the Jaguar specialist who features his work on You Tube. I think you will be impressed by his knowledge of the marque.
