I was just old enough to remember buying one of these (definitely not my money!) for Dad for Father's Day for his '62 Pontiac. He always got to work about 5am so as to get a parking spot and played cards 'til the 7am whistle. When it was cold those cars always seamed to fog, so I thought he would love it. Wonder whatever happened to it? eBay has it for $24, probably about what I (Mom!) paid in '65!

Love period pieces to add to my car but this one is earlier before my '39 so would love to see it get a (closer to) period home. I did find this one that helped date it to 1930. I currently have a nice collection of news articles and ads to display with my car for shows, etc.

I have these in the glovebox of both the 54 and now the 37. They came to be in a box of parts from a dealership that operated from the 20s-30s.

I've never seen the 'older' version before. How do they work?? I remember the red 'gun' well enough that plugged into the cigarette lighter; I recall my Dad getting one from my Mom for a Christmas present, but that rectangular version is 'new' to me. Chris.
