Does anyone know where I could get the ball joints for a 1954 Cavalier?

Your Packard does not use a ball joint-type suspension. King pins are used to support the spindle assembly and king pin kits are available from the major Packard parts vendors.

G'day Marcus Sporleder,
See you've been a Forum Member since 2008 but your first post, so

Both Kanters and Max Merritt, the major Packard parts suppliers have front suspension components available. You'll probably find what you need there.

Oh, and I invite you to include your '54 Cavalier in PackardInfo's Packard Vehical Registry.

The Kanter website is a little confusing unless you know where to go. Here is the page that lists all the 1948-1954 parts. Just scroll down from there:

Kanter, Merritt, Tucson Packard and all the others have far more than their Websites list. Typically the sites were created long ago, then seldom if ever updated so best to call or email them. For Kanter, not only is their site confusing but you can’t buy online either as they have no facility for electronic ordering and paying so as nice as they are, I virtually never buy from them.
