For 1951, was there a common head gasket for all displacements? I found one in the batch of spare items I got with the car. I don't think there is a part number on it.

It looks like there was just one standard gasket to fit all engines between 48 and 52 plus an extra thick or export gasket that could be used on all except the 359 engine thru 54.

For the 53 and 54 288/327 engines they changed the standard gasket. Not sure what the difference might be but maybe they changed the composition.

The 54 359 engine with the larger bore had its own gaskets.
