window track for Packard 900 coupe

I'm building a one-off car for someone, using what appears to be a 900 body. The frame is from what I'm told is a Graber Packard. I need some window track, the one that goes around the sides and top of the door glass. This picture is from a friend's 900, and Steele Rubber doesn't seem to have anything like it. Anyone know where it could be found?

Are you looking for the metal channel or the rubber that goes in the channel?

I was assuming that Steele Rubber would sell the rubber and steel product as a unit, but apparently not.

They are usually two different pieces. Unless it generic window channel that is felt lined which you would find in the door or around the perimeter of a closed car window frame.

On my 37-115c I found stainless channel made as a Ford convertible reproduction that was the the correct profile, and cut it to the correct length. I paired that with rubber from Steele.

You can also try Restoration Supply or Restoration Specialties.

Graber would indicate it was coachbuilt in Switzerland so if the frame was unique to Graber, then likely the original pieces were European-sourced.

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately the car I'm working on is unique to itself. The picture I posted is of a restored Packard 900.

Whatever I find has to be open to the outside, otherwise when the top is up you'd have to roll the window down to open the door.

You need something that is a roughly L-shaped channel and rubber that is similar. Steele and others have various rubber options that should work. But it's going to come down to what channel you figure out.

Here is what it looks like on a '37. The stainless channel holds a piece of rubber pressed against the window frame from the leading and back side.

It may not be exactly the same, but the concept should be similar.
