I've noticed on my 53 Clipper Deluxe Touring Sedan that my headlight bezels look nothing like all the other pictures I'm seeing. Mine have a raised chrome "fin", if you will. All the other pictures I have seen, they are just round chrome bezels.

Someone removed the stock 53 bezel and changed it to a 54 senior style bezel. This was often done to add a bit more distinction to the front ends.

Is that the same on the hood ornament or was the cormorant offered in '53?

The hood ornament was an appropriate accessory for 1953 and 1954 junior models.

For 1953 and 1954 it would be any Clipper which were entry level cars on the shorter 122” wheelbase.

200 and 250 are Junior Models, a bit smaller and not as many options, such as the cormorant hood ornament. 300 and 400 are Senior Models.
