I believe the factory codes for 1955 options, as presented some years ago by Brian Harpst, indicate that chrome wire wheels were available for the senior (Packard) models which would be the 400, Patrician, and Caribbean.

You could order Packard Motor Wheel Corp. wire wheels either from the factory OR add then at your packard dealership. For any 1955 or 1956 Packard.

Did they make a second size for Clipper tires?

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish.

As fas as I know, they were a senior-only option but possibly the reproductions are available in Clipper sizes. That said, I have seen them on Clippers but seem to recall that adding them meant switched over to the larger Packard drums and related components.
