Also, everyone knows that after cutting some tube, it will have a ridge on the inside. I found that a 12V test light from Harbor Frieght works very well to remove this ridge so you can reinsert the flare tool. Up to 1/4 OD tubing.

I do not recall if I mentioned that the AMC 320 came out of a air car. The compressor was removed and sold before I purchased it. I may have included the compressor bracket along with the loose parts box, but I don’t recall. Enjoy following your blog.

Thanks! But I don't recall if it was in there.

Also worth noting that the 31.386174 part 440606 is made the exact same way; 1/4" tube and 7/16 flare. The parts list gives an elbow (really a tee) and a plug that goes with the tee. If you have power brakes that plug is deleted and replaced with a check valve as I mentioned in an earlier post.
