Has anyone ever seen this car? Looks to be an updated 1929 model.

Sorry West, I recognize the name Kirchhoff, but have no knowledge of the car, first time I've seen the pictures.

Yes, I know that. He was associated with Murphy for a while, and did some cars for Miller, right?

I'm familiar with the Murphy connection. I'm also aware that one of the world's ugliest Duesenbergs has his name on it (NOT J123, which is similar to this car and is quite gorgeous, but J497).

West: The Kirchhoff Duesenberg your referring to is listed as a Town Car Limousine. The chassis number is listed as 2514 and the engine number is J-497 L..

The Kirchhoff Duesenberg can not be any worse looking than the coach work done by Rollston in 1931 on chassis number 2330 with engine J-315 L.

Could you post a picture of the Kirchhoff Duesenberg?

You're right, J497. I've edited my previous post with your correction.

West, looks like a Hudson Italia in the right-side background. Rarer by far that a Duesenberg with what - 21 or 24 built? What was the venue and year that photo was taken, if you recall?

Since seeing a picture of the Kirchhoff Duesy I now remember viewing the car at a Concours several years ago. I may have some pictures of the car, but wouldn't know were to begin looking

I certainly remember the fine workmanship and the materials
used on the interior of the car.

West do you have any pictures of the interior that you could post for all to see.
