Looking for a decent set of smooth front fenders for a 160. I believe 120, 160 and 180 were the same fenders. I currently have nice fenders with dual side mounts and would like to run smooth fenders.

thanks,
Mark Piechowski

There was a gorgeous set available for a long time out of Canton, TX. Not sure if they are still available, but if so, i could bring them to Hershey. You goin' to Hershey?

Hi,
Not sure about Hershey. There was also a set of NOS fenders on ebay from Packsea...seemed to be priced pretty well. The auction said said local pick-up only. When is Hershey? Perhaps I should think about going.

PackSea is Seattle Packards. The shipping would be a killer on those.

The fenders with side mounts fit the 1940 180 long wheelbase? I would like a right side only in great shape. Does not need to be painted, but would like little on no rust and no major metal damage? Thanks.

Hi Todd,
I wouldn't be looking to sell the side mount fenders from my car as they are original. They would be prepped and painted along with the smooth fenders, then stored incase I decided to install them later on or if I were to sell the car, keep things together as a complete set.

Good luck on finding the fender you're looking for!

Hi FirstEliminator:

I am from Central Connecticut (about 20 minutes from Hartford) and am going to Hershey this year. I see that you are from Massachusetts, so you are not that far from me. I have room reservations for two for a hotel right on Chocolate Avenue. Recently, the person who was going to make the trip with me this year canceled out, so there is a vacancy.

If you are interested in joining me for my Hershey trip, I would be most pleased to make your acquaintance. The 1940 Packard 160 Coupe you bought was one of the ads I spotted on FB Marketplace and reposted on this site (which I probably spend too much time doing!) I also own a light truck (2023 Ford Maverick), and I am sure we could cram those fenders into it.

Please PM me if interested. Thanks, and good luck with your project.

Thank you, that is a great offer. Unfortunately I am not able to take that many days during the work week without planning a month ahead. Not too far away, I am 2 hours from Bradley. Hopefully we can cross paths at some point in the future.

Flackmaster,
Do you have any contact info on the set of fenders in TX? 99% chance I won't be in Hershey. However, there might be someone near me in NY that is going down that would be able to move them the rest of the way.

thanks,
Mark
