Analog Engine Analyzer

I picked up this engine analyzer last year off Marketplace, and the internet has let me down, I can't find a manual for it. Can anyone provide any assistance on how to hook up and measure rpm & dwell?

The leads on the left are pretty straight forward and no problem measuring ohms and voltage. The analyzer has it's own power source, AA battery, so I don't think it needs power from the car like some of the other analyzers, but not sure. There is only one place to plug in one set of leads at a time.

The set of leads on the right are the ones that I need help with. I think that shunt probably goes to the coil, negative side ?, for measuring tach and dwell. It is possible that there is another set of leads that I don't have, don't know.

Don't want to experiment and wreck it! Let me know what you know!

Not your exact model but it describes both inputs and how to use them on these old style analyzers. Engine Analyzer

I have an old style Sears analyzer at my shop identical to the one I had bought in the ‘60s but had not taken care of. When I saw another on eBay still in the box I grabbed it but unfortunately I am hundreds of miles away from it so can’t check the similarity.

Thanks Andrew, this is the best information I've seen so far! I should just spend $50 and buy a digital one off Amazon, but this one is kinda cool, and a better fit for my car!

eBay is littered with the Sears engine analyzers, I should have bought one of them! Oh well!

UPDATE
FB realized I was searching for my engine analyzer and sent me a notification for the exact same one for sale. The guy has the instruction manual and I told him what it was for, sent him a picture of my car, and he's going to mail me the manual. No charge because it's for a good cause! Maybe there is hope for us humans! 😊

If you need them too, let me know! I know where can get the identical analyzer too!

There are a few of those for sale for cheap, but I barely have room in my garage for my Packard, let alone a great big engine analyzer! LOL

Here are the instructions for my analyzer. Sharing them because they give some good old fashioned tune-up tips.
