I'm hoping there is someone that can remeber a minor cut remedy that was used up thru the 1960's that i know of.

I did a google search on "Nathialade" and variations of the word spelled phonetically. Came up empty handed.

Is this just some hallucinogenic flashback i'm having or does anyone else remeber this over the counter minor wound remedy???? It was dark red in color when applied to the skin and stings a little bit, sometimes A LOT as i remeber.

The reason i'm asking is that i think i have some here but the label is missing from the bottle so i'm not sure. Came in a dark brown bottle if i remeber rite.

Has a long solid glass tube with a small ball on the end as an applicator. A cork top.

As a kid remember every time you cut yourself Mum would immediately apply the Mercurochrome, stung like blazes, but you never seemed to get an infection so it worked. Probably killed any germs present and most likely some flesh too.

As I recall it was a less painful option than iodine. At least that's how my mom sold it to me.

When you put it on a wound it turned irridescent in color (red, orange, green, yellow, even blue).

More fun than Castor Oil.
