G'day Men, this mightn't be completely relevant to what's being discussed but I thought you might like to see this one anyway. It started out life as '36 four door convertible sedan and was converted to a "Ute" in the '40's. It had a body on resto a few years ago, which included fitting an R6 overdrive box. I've driven it a number of times and can confirm that it gets along quite nicely. The car was recently sold to a mostly Studebaker enthusiast after it's elderly owner of many years had to give up driving. That's my '56 Patrician lurking in the background. Regards, John

This "Ute" also appears on pages 30 & 31 of the Rally Book for the PACA 2009 National Rally.

G'day all, With regards to the Jack Miller machine mentioned by JP, I understand that it is actually a highly "uted - pick-uped, whatever", Dietrich body ( actually built by White in 35-36). Max Austin's 36 Dietrich convertible is now owned by his son-in-law Barry(not Tamworth)Smith. I also understand that Frank D'Agastino has one of these Dietrich convertible 120's. Very unusual machines and factory rhd . Best regards Peter Toet
