Thank you Fred but I live about as far away from you as is possible in the continental US. If you are willing to get it packed I can see if UPS would take it.

I will look into the cost of packing and will let you know. It probably needs to go in a box made of wood. It may take till Monday before I get a business to respond.

ER-If you do get out for a drive before snow flies (flurries today ) and you are in the Hillsboro area please swing by Sanel Auto parts, I'd like to see it. My ambition lever has slipped into neutral as far as getting anything done to my 53. Maybe seeing another running example might jump start me.

you hit the nail on the head there Mike, that is exactly why i bought the 50! It has motivated me to get the 49 back on track. I appreciate my 49 much more now that I am driving a lower end car. I did a lube job and put her on the road Thursday. been driving it around town. you are welcome to come check it out anytime you want.

The valve area looks to be the same, it's the chambers over the piston that are different.
