Agentx66x: Good luck on with your new adoption. With two cars sitting in my garage if I brought another one home for adoption, my wife would put me up for adoption.
Best of luck with your new adoption. Please put your Packard in the Owner Registry. John F. Shireman

Found her on craigslist.(Phoenix) Its a 1937 touring coupe.
Ill add it in the registry shortly. This makes 3 Packards for me now. I might get rid of the 1956 executive project to get this one going. But its so hard to let a Packard go.

Well done Ryan, I'm envious! Love the Packard Pre-War two door body style.

You fellows who have the courage and patience to tackle these bedraggled and neglected relics and bring them back to their former splendor have all my admiration and respect, and deserve the same from everyone in the hobby. Many such cars were once someone else's project car, bought and started with high expectations but for whatever reasons never turned the corner and may have even suffered further indignities in the process.
So many, by the time they reached their 3rd or later owners, were purchased simply as dirt-cheap transportation and never received the routine care, much less the preventative maintenance, that they deserved and were pretty much just abandoned to wither away when the first repair need came along. I've always considered myself very fortunate indeed that both my Packards were never off the road or neglected; the first was under the care of the Packard factory branch until just a few years before I bought it, and the other had the benefit of ownership by a Packard collector and lover from almost day one and thus I've never had to go thru, much less even contemplate, what you guys have ahead of you.
