'55 Packard parts Patrician Surprize

As many of you know, I typically only work on the 400 on weekends due to work etc. Well today, I went out to my parts Pat in the carport (opposite side of house from my garage) to spy how the rear seats fit up against the shoulder panels. It seems my newer seats are a bit short (side to side) and I have a 1/2 to 3/4 inch spacing near the corners of the windshield and I guess I'll just have to live with that until I spend zillions on original upholstery someday (not!).

Anyway, critters are a part of the SW USA and I've dealt with rattlesnakes, tarantulas, many black-widow spiders & even Gambel's quail; but today, I found (3) small baby kittens inside. Mama cat is a feral cat I've seen around the house over the years, but I guess she took advantage of me pulling the window motors and not propping up the flat glass to bar entry.

After seeing that, my (3) non-retrieving golden-relaxers (golden retrievers) Louie, Buddy & Shelby were duly admonished for sleeping on the job!

The cats looks like they are about 3-4 weeks old. And yes, the bride and I provided cream, milk and kibble. I'll try and trap Mama cat here shortly, once the kittens are older and have her spayed.

Names anyone for the babies? How about Nance, Christoper & Macauley?

Kevin,

Scrolled down to the pic and, surprise, it was your parts Pat! I thought I'd see a pic of the kittens. Nevertheless the pic of the Pat stirred my interest as I couldn't recall seeing it in the Packard Owner's Registry which a quick check confirmed. Accordingly, could you please include your parts Pat in the Packard Owner's Registry, together with a pic, any known history and how you acquired it?

Hello Kevin,

Would you mind registering those kittens in the owner registry? Please include color and any known details or history about them.

Ok, I'm sorry Mal, I just couldn't resist. Besides, if a parts car can be registered, why not Packard parts Kittens?

Kevin, Hope to meet up with you some time at one of our AZ PI chapter functions.

Jim

Jim,

Just like the saying "any publicity is good publicity" any reference to the Packard Owner's Registry is welcome in whatever context it is made. The Packard Owner's Registry needs all the help it can get!

Good times Mal! Love the pic of those little blue-eyed buggers. We have a 4 &16 year old version.

I knew you would get a laugh out of my late night (11:30 pm here in Arizona) cheeky humor. I think I was beaten out by the Nixon family reference.
