Characters? Did the man call us characters? Well, I guess some of those out west do border on being characters, so we'll let it slide.
And Dave you qualify as a geezer by dint of the 1934 vehicle you drive. Who but a geezer would drive a 1934 automobile?

And I tore up my AARP card years ago - let us not discuss politics.

"Characters" ....... yes we were indeed called such. But, those Canadiens are pretty perceptive people anyway, eh?

Sounds like a good time. I'll put it on my calendar. I might have the time next year if I start saving for it now.

Hey everyone, this is great! Looks like some great momentum. Even international interest!

This early response is very encouraging. I will resume talks with the events coordinator at the Riverside.

Duane, perhaps this is something we can share with the local chapter. As Kevin mentioned, this could be of interest to the local folks here in the West and Southwest.

I am really looking forward to getting together and meeting more of our Packard friends.

Jim

I must have been somewhere away from my computer when this topic first came up. I would be very interested in such a meet! November before the 11th is busy because of my Canadian Legion Remembrance day poppy fund raiser but I could maybe bring a box of poppies to sell at the meet. Put me down as a maybe.

The idea of a show is great! I know this is sort of off topic and I hope you guys don't mind me sticking this in there, but eventually we should have a meet in Illinois or Wisconsin. You know, someday.

As we move into the new year, the Laughlin meet is beginning to take shape. I will have more specific info. for booking the rooms in the next few weeks. This is definitely coming to fruition.

I am specifically looking for a member that could help create a flyer. Doesn't have to be award winning, just something that will help us get the word out. Please let me know if this is something that someone could help us with.

Thanks,
Jim
