Hope you find one, they are VERY hard to come by. As I said I've searched for spares (which I now have) for decades and then just recently saw 3 or 4 pairs go within a week. I got one set and others went like wildfire!!! It's one of the few lenses that hasn't been repro'd in either glass or plastic.

Sorry I can't help with your other parts, I have many 33/34 spares which I keep for my 34 and wouldn't part with, and just recently parted with all the excess extras. I suspect the glovebox spring-loaded latch was very common hardware used by lots of makes and shouldn't be too hard to find at the larger flea markets. Also it looks like it would be fun winter project to make a couple of them.

Keep us posted. Have we seen pictures of your 33?

Car is for sale.

I can say that I have found nearly all of the parts that were missing. The couple of pieces that are missing are minor in nature and could either be fabricated easily.

All sheet metal is there, although not shown in the photos.

Engine runs great, I have the correct replacement carburetor bowl.

MANY extra parts.

I have the impossible to find correct 1933 taillights.

The chassis has been restored, the engine rebuilt correctly.

Wood rot has been replaced.

New radiator.

Gas tank relined.

And much much more info.

Asking price is $15,000

Location is 15 min east of St. Louis.

Hobbs,

Say it isn't so. Sorry to hear you're selling the '33. From the work done and parts you have, looks like a real good buy for the price. Pity there's an ocean in the way! I've sent you an email about the other matter we've been discussing. Could you please advise ASAP!
