It will be interesting for sure--not so much for his experiences but for how long it lasts. It appears he is leaving the car in some exposed areas in Southern California. Didn't see a mention of security but even if it's there, in one of the highest car theft areas in the country, wouldn't expect it will be too long before someone in a large U Haul pulls up alongside and gives it a try. Granted, it's not a more desirable Toyota or Honda but----

Check this story out. It has a happy ending, but they rarely end this way.

Stolen & Recovered

This 1937 Ford Panel truck was stolen, and found due to the owner posting a picture and location of where it was stolen.

Someone who had checked the website actually saw the '37 on a car hauler at the local DMV, and called the cops.

Its a good story, and something that us Packard / Old car owners need to be aware of.

Blah, I drove my '56 Patrician as a daily for 2 & 1/2 years. Sometimes with no wipers, sometimes with no heat, (Never any defrost, lol!) sometimes for distances of 120 miles or more.

REAL car enthusiasts DRIVE their cars more than 1000 miles a year.

So do real idiots. The problem lies in separating the two groups---if possible.....

The real idiots could be applied to ANY car owner, not just enthusiasts.

Don't get me started on idiots driving unsafe cars..
