Brother-in-law is having trouble reaching up to the rear of the transmission to remove the old lines. Is there a trick to this guys? A special tool? I don't know if it is a tight space, an awkward angle or what. Any suggetions would be greatly appreciated!

Wonder if the top plate is large enough that they could be reached from the top.
