installing a radio in a 51 200

finally found a fairly nice 51 radio for my car, which is a stock 6 volt model. I'm in the process with some of my old radio friends in getting it up to snuff.

Question - what do I need to add on the car as it never had one before? I will get a manual antenna and install it. The wires are modern Napa wires, so do I need a supressor on the wire to the radio? Any other advice would be great! thanks

If it's stock, there are some fairly detailed instructions on radio and antenna installation, adjustment and testing in the accessories section of 51-4 service manual. If the wires are solid core, you probably will need some condensers. The suggested locations are also mentioned.
