OK Tim49, get back!! stand back!!! no hyperventilating all over the car. Your enthusiasm is infectious.....I just got off Craig's list checking to see if there was anything there that I didn't know I needed. I'm happy for you too.

Tim, I've been following your posts with interest. Congratulations on a fine looking Packard! I lived in Honolulu many years ago and spent about 6 months on the Big Island and never saw a Packard. Am curious about how the car ended up in Hilo. Was it always on the Big Island or did it come from Honolulu? Again, congrats on a great discovery! Happy Motoring!

Looks good seems like you got a really good deal. I'm learning new things all the time about my 51 and probably has a lot further to go than yours does. What color is the interior?

Tim's Owner Registry entry, '52 200 Deluxe Touring Sedan, shows interior code 56 and coming from Washington State.

the carpet is dark brown, the headliner and door panels are ivory, the seats are cloth ,striped brown. the car was restored in the 80's perhaps. and i noticed today a decal on the window , faded ; looks like it might be from a packard club. with a #. but it is very faded.

You have bought a great driving and very reliable car. Congrats. Particularly like the attractive and seldom seen Twilight Taupe and Sunset Red combo.
