I'm new to the Packard Forum and I am hoping to gather some information about my dad's Packard. My brother found these old photos that are dated 1938 taken in Florida. As far back as I can remember we always had Packards. My dad even owned a Packard/Crosley agency in Ohio until around 1956 when it was closed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's either a 1938 or 1939 120 convertible coupe, with 1937 fender lights.

It's a 1938 110 convertible coupe(1189), particularly well optioned with the spotlight, fender lights, and front bumper center bumperette. 38, not 39, as evidenced by tail lights, hood ornament and hood side detail. (and likely ivory steering wheel)

Thank you for the help in identifying the 1938 Packard 110 convertible coupe. I also have 2 more pictures, I think are Packards, but am not sure.

I believe the top car with your handsome father leaning on it is a 32 approx Pierce Arrow 8 cyl, see "8" in center of octagon hubcap. Body looks like Lebaron, conv coupe, very smart looking. ee if you can confirm on google pictures

A Pierce Arrow LeBaron is for sure a very smart looking car but his father leans on a Hudson Terraplane 8, pictured at both photographs. Build year 1932 we could discuss but 1934 is definitely out of the range because of restyled radiator grills.

46Steel, welcome at PackardInfo.com!

"...In 1932, Hudson began phasing out its Essex nameplate for the modern Terraplane brand name. The new line was launched on July 21, 1932, with a promotional christening by Amelia Earhart. For 1932 and 1933, the restyled cars were named Essex-Terraplane; from 1934 as Terraplane, until 1938 when the Terraplane was re-named the Hudson 112..." [wikipedia]

Guscha. I have to disagree. The car in the second photo, on the left, is definitely a 1931-33 Auburn, the light colored car on the right is a 1931-32 Pierce-Arrow.

West, I'm right there with you. Adieu photomontage!
I thought to recognize the Hudson his father leans on at both photographs but had to correct it.
