Hi everyone,

Has anyone ordered/replaced their wiring? If so, what harness supplier did you go with?

I found these three:

http://www.ynzyesterdaysparts.com/

http://harnessesunlimited.com/

http://www.narragansettreproductions.com/

Thanks,

Mark

I think the Narragansett looks pretty good. I called the first to request a quote, and left a message on the other to order a catalog. What I like about the Narragansett is their website, and the option to order separate sections of the harness, as I really only need the tail/turn/backup harness. It remains to be seen if the others offer that too, and what the prices are, but 20 some odd bucks isn't bad for what I need!

Rhode Island Wiringhttp://www.riwire.com/ is another. Their website offers sections and has prices listed.

Just a note RI wiring is owned by the brother of Narragansett Repro.
I used Narra Repro for my harness and by the virtue of living about 30 min away from the place , I got my dash to engine harness uncovered because I wanted to add some additional circuits for turn signals, OD stuff and just some extra wires to both the front and rear of the car (electric fuel pump etc.) I then brought it back and had the whole mess covered. It's always to have a few extra wires for add ons.

I just finished installing a main wiring harness on my 23rd series 1950 Deluxe 8 touring sedan. I got the harness from Rhode Island Wiring. They make a good product but there were a few issues with connectors. When I called them they knew exactly what to do and sent me usable parts right away. I also used them for a harness on my 1934 Nash. I like their service.

The only advice I can give you is to do the main wiring for sure and maybe hold off on the other smaller harnesses. Each one is a project in itself.

I used Narragansett for my main and my over drive for my 24 series. Can't say enough good about them. The instructions were right on and the turn around time was great also.
