Good Day to all...We have a 23rd Series 288 that has a new radiator, rebuilt water pump, flushed water distribution tube, flushed block both sides, flushed head, she has been timed and tuned and wants to run above 180 when confronted with long lights and moderate hills. Is this normal for these old gals?

As long as she isn't boiling over, I think you should be ok.
