Does anyone know if the origional striped broadcloth material for a 51 300 is available? If so whare? Looking for gray.

Try SMS Auto Fabrics in Oregon. If they dont have it, then it probably doesnt exist anymore.

Thanks for the info. I requested a sample from them. They wanted the trim code but I wasn't sure what mine is. I couldn't read it. Looked like 71 or 7i. I have the gray striped broad cloth interior. The strips are 1 1/2" wide. What do you think my trim code really is?

The only non-leather upholstery trim codes I can find for a '51 model 2472 is code 71 or 71A. They are both defined as 'Gray Bedford Cord, Striped'. So I'd say that 71 is correct.

Those cars, IIRC are upholstered in what looks to be a very old style of fabric, more like a thiries car then what became the norm for the fifties, the sculpted Jacquards and metallese (sp) types, you might try leBaron Bonney as well or Bill Hirsch.
