Hey everyone,
I just wanted to share some pics of the progress so far on my Packard.

Ohhh...pretty!!!

Had the engine ever been rebuilt?

It was green prior. My dads engine was also green however it seems the original color was supposed to be grey.

yes, it appears to have been rebuilt by the previous owner. The pistons are marked .030 and the cylinders have cross hatching with little to no wear. the exhaust valves are new as are all of the valve springs. The valve chamber is completely cleaned and primed as well. The surface of the block has also been machined. I haven't removed the pan but I'm pretty sure the bearings have been replaced as well. I actually like the Packard green better but I've been told that gray is the correct color for this engine. I want to try and be as correct as possible.
