1954 Caribbean trunk liner

I have been looking for the correct trunk liner for a 1954 Caribbean. The car did not have a liner at all when the restoration was started, so I have nothing for comparison. SMS Auto sent us 2 samples that their books show are correct for 1954 Caribbean trunk liners, but said that the book does not say how to tell which is correct. The body number for the Caribbean is 5478-2085. Does anyone know how to tell which is correct for the car? Thank you.

Thank you. I searched for Packards1 on the web and could only find an ebay store. Is this what you were referring to or is Packards1 something else?

Let us know what you find when you contact Patrician Industries regarding a '54 trunk liner kit. It was my understanding that Joel's wife Sue was only making the '56 kits and was in fact tapering off on that project.

I just contacted Patrician Industries. I was told that they only make trunk liners for 55 and 56 Packards. They are still open for business. I contacted them at the number below that I found in another post on these forums.

I just noticed that the picture of the materials that I was asking about does not appear to be attached. I will try to add it again. If anyone has any information, I would appreciate it.

"A" looks like the 56 material, 55 was quite different and I have a photo of that if anyone needs it. I'm not familiar with what the '54 Caribs might have used.

Ps - here's the 55 Carib trunk liner material, as well as the 56 material, repro from Joel above, original below.

I am pretty sure that all of the trunks through 54 were flocked with the grey/brown coarse flock. That has been discussed several times before so I'm sure a search will bring up some suggestions.

I have been told that the trunk was flocked on the sides at least. Was this on the floor of the trunk as well with no mat or anything?
