Hello
My grandfather William E Melvin owned Melvin & Dilley Auto Sales in Ironton, Ohio. The sold Packard from 1946 on along with Willys Nash And Studebaker from 1948 and 49.
All family information on the "garage" disappeared in the 60's. when granddad passed on.
Any info or leads on information would be appreciated.
Also I'm a docent at America's Packard Museum in Dayton Ohio.

Thanks in advance
jeff Limerick

The late Ken Chapman compiled a listing of all known Packard dealers. In his 2006 listing it shows three dealers in Ironton, Ohio:

Adams-Sayre Motor Co., 317 Lawrence Street (1925)
Albert Keyes - no address listed - (1938)
Ironton Studebaker-Packard - no address listed - (1955)

Melvin & Dilley Auto Sales was not listed.

By the way, James J. Nance, Packard's last president, was born in Ironton in 1900.
