Hello,

We have a NOS water pump available. The price is $325 plus a $100 core charge. If you are interest I would ask that you please call 1-800-526-1096 and ask to speak with Stu in the Packard Department.

Thanks

Yes, I did talk to Kanter about a water pump. The one that they have is integral, or to put it another way, lays flat on a table.

The water pump in a 1939 Super 8 engine has the impeller that is "proud" of the shaft housing body, and thus the impeller fits into an opening in the engine block.

Thus, I don't know what water pump Kanter has, but it doesn't seem to be for a 1939 Super 8...

Thanks David Coco Winchester Va.

Hello David,

Here is a picture of a 1939 Super Eight Water Pump. Is it possible that you do not have a 39 Super Eight Engine in your car?
