Trying to identify a high-end coupe

Hi,
I'm trying to identify the year and model of that car, parked in Place de la Concorde, Paris, in 1947. I tend to think it's a 1935-36-ish Twelve, but my knowledge is close to zero in pre-war cars... It looks it is a high-end coupe, given its size. Headlights are obviously not factory, and the lack of a hood ornament is not surprising, as they were banned in France.

Yes, a senior Packard. Front bumper is a Twelve bumper. Hard for me to judge the degree of slope of the radiator which is one visual difference between 1935 and 1936 seniors but I believe it's 1935.

headlights look like Marchal, not uncommon for a sale in France

Hi

Yes, '35 Twelve five passenger coupe, a 1207, Body Style 837. Chrome radiator shell and Marchal headlights. Thanks for posting, it must have been well hidden during the war.

Steve

Proud 1953 Clipper Deluxe owner. Thinking about my next Packard, want a Clipper Deluxe Eight, manual shift with overdrive.
